Autumn, Walnuts, Fun

Autumn is here, latest preparation before winter.

Mom is preparing a very delicious walnut cake and we will need to crack some walnuts !

Yes, but there can be a lot of fun using the walnut shells!

In order to get the shells intact open the walnut with a swiss army knife.

When cracking each shell put them together, it will be very hard to figure out the pairs after mixing all shells.

Use glue and a string to make the necklace, we have used silicon glue that dries fast.

Paint the walnuts, we have used watercolor

You can also keep the remaining shells for later – wrapping the shell pairs with tinfoil and storing in a plastic bag.
